Due to the high increase in packaging supplies and delivery costs ..From the 4th April 2023 Delivery will be charged at a flat rate of £9.50 per outfit.
All items will be sent out Tracked/ Signature required and Insured.
I am sorry that I am unable to cover this cost . Please kindly note that Outfits are already heavily discounted.

All items are boxed, tissue wrapped, delivered on hangers where appropriate and covered by a plastic garment bag.

Items are sent out with FULL insurance, Track and Trace and with email or text notifications.
​
Please note you will be sent an email stating that your item has been shipped - this is an automated email that is sent out from the website when tracking information is entered into the system. This is done at all points of sale and does not mean that your purchased is packed or on its way.
Please allow time for the information to be generated on the relevant shipping company websites before trying to track your item.
Royal Mail/UPS/DPD Local will also send you notification to let you know your consignment booked in,

Once the parcel has been despatched, you will be sent a text/email or both- confirming the delivery date, and you be offered different options to reschedule, if required etc.

If you are not going to be in to receive the delivery you can choose to leave parcels with a specific neighbour, in a safe place
​
All delivery companies will attempt to deliver in any event and if you are not in, you will be carded or if they feel there is a safe place to leave it, they may opt to do this and send you confirmation via email. They will photograph the outside of your property and time capture this.

For clarification:

​1. UK Deliveries are sent out by Royal Mail, UPS or DPD, with insurance
2. All parcels are tracked and will need to be signed for on arrival. During this times the courier will sign and take a photo
3. When we despatch your parcel, we will give you the information you need to track it.
4. If we are not able to despatch your Order within 7days from the date you placed it, we will notify you by email to let you know the expected date for delivery. You will also have the option to cancel your Order at this point if you’d rather not wait.
5. We may send your order in separate deliveries if they are not all available to send at the same time.
6. In the event that the item is delivered damaged, please sign this "DAMAGED" and refuse the goods, especially if the box looks "badly damaged" or maybe ask the courier to wait whilst you inspect the goods. We do use air sacs and bubble wrap etc. but we cannot be sure that the item will be handled sensitively when it leaves CMB Thank you
7. Please note all invoices/ paperwork that is generated due to your online purchase, will be sent to you direct upon payment taken. PayPal will send you receipts for your purchase(s) and confirmation notice from the CMB website.
We do not duplicate this paperwork . Though you will receive written information on returns and thank you card. We do add a copy of the Order Invoice.

RETURNS-
Please contact us before returning any items, please ensure they are sent back in boxes and all hangers, garment bags are returned. If hangers are missing there will be a charge of £2.00- Sorry but hangers cost.
Please do use the garment cover over the actual garment to protect the garment in transit, thank you.
Please ensure that all security tags are intact, if removed or tampered with the return will be void and you are required to pay the delivery charges back to you.

14 DAYS RETURN UNLESS A LONGER DATE BEEN REQUESTED and 7 days to notify us of returns, and 24hrs to report faults.

Any IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES or local taxes will need to met by you the customer.

CMB will charge for Postage costs, insurance and packaging to the relevant country.
You can also use your own courier company to collect the item, but it will be YOUR FULL responsibility in the event that anything goes wrong with the service.
CMB will be happy to securely pack the relevant items for you and add any postage labels that you provide.
We will always aim to get the best deal for you. We will reimburse you any savings made, if we manage to get the postage costs cheaper once the delivery is booked. We only send by insured delivery, so this can vary in price due to the value of goods, hence why we cannot give a standalone price. Please email us your requirements. i.e. fast delivery, standard delivery etc

If you need to return goods, please contact CMB within 7 days of your intention.
Goods need to be returned within 14 days unless there is a written agreement allowing a longer return window.
YOU WILL be responsible for any returns costs that incur.

Please note- sometimes courier companies’ invoice what they call handling charges upon return goods. This is normally if the paperwork has not been filled correctly.
Please make sure that you select the returned good option. If you are unsure your delivery company will advise you.
In the event that any charges are levied, we will notify you with the invoice received from the delivery company/agent.

Customs and Handling charges will apply to most overseas shipments- Customs/Handling charge tariffs vary from country to country

Goods that are returned back to CMB by the Delivery Company which are refused on the grounds of NON PAYMENT OF CUSTOMS DUTIES ETC OR (RELATED CUSTOM DUTIES / THE HANDLING CHARGE) WILL BE NON REFUNDABLE-
In the event that you have changed your mind and no longer want the items,
Please notify us by email only contact@charlottemartinboutique.co.uk when you are in receipt of any invoice/ paperwork for the custom charges or delivery date and we will do our best to cancel the consignment at our end.
We will pass on any paperwork that we receive to confirm that this was successful .
You will also be issued with a reference number, which you will need to quote in any further correspondence.
CMB stance in the event of you the customer refusing to pay any duties or you no longer wish to receive the item is that we respectively ask to be notified of this.
If we do not hear from you the customer within 14 days of the delivery company attempting to deliver OR notifying you of such charges , CMB will consider that you have accepted the goods.
PLEASE DO NOTIFY US IF YOU WANT TO REFUSE THE GOODS - OTHERWISE ITEMS CAN BE HELD FOR SEVERAL WEEKS. THANK YOU
If we are notified and upon the safe return of the goods you will be refunded minus delivery charges and any handling fees where applicable.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If CMB does NOT receive an email request to notify us that your intention is to return the goods within 7 days or you are not willing to pay any charges levied for the custom duties within our 14 DAY RETURN POLICY.CMB will consider that this item has been purchased.

Please kindly note we will always confirm safe receipt of any such request FOR FULL TRANSPARENCY and if you do not receive any response please email again and if possible come via the website where there will also be a record on file of such requests. Thank you.

CMB do not own all the stock that is listed on the website.
Garments are also sold via the Dress Agency. Customers who own these items are paid when the return period expires.
In the event that you have refused to pay custom charges and have not notified us it can take several weeks to receive the return goods back .

If customs charges are payable upon receipt of either the delivery /returned goods, for example UK Royal Mail, Parcel force and courier companies may charge a handling fee to cover the costs for carrying out customs procedures, which includes paying any customs duties or VAT due and collecting it...
If customs examination is required, or if information is missing from the declaration upon you returning the goods- Royal Mail and delivery companies may open, repack and reseal the package. All international courier and postal operators charge fees for their services and HMRC and Border Force do not have any authority over the level of charges they apply.
